In 1999, Jill founded a direct mail agency with just four employees. Rauxa. In the years since, that small company has become the largest independent woman-owned advertising agency in the country. All along, Jill has maintained Rauxa’s culture of being “upside down”—starting with 70% of the leadership team being female. She has grown the agency’s client list with hard work, dedication, and a little advice from her father: “My dad always said you only get money from one place, customers. Figure out what they need and help them get it done.” Today, she follows that advice with a passion for her clients. “We don’t let up or give up until we get it done for them.”
Mentorship is another priority for Jill, and she’s found new ways to support and nurture young professionals, both at Rauxa and throughout the industry. With its trademark “unbridled emotion with a little touch of madness,” Rauxa has expanded to six offices and more than 300 employees across the U.S. And just like Jill, Rauxa isn’t slowing down.
